I took the kids on Saturday evening. 2 small cones = $8.50. There was, at most, a 1/4 cup of ice cream per cone, maybe. They looked like samples.

More expensive than Grom gelato? I was stunned when they rung me up.

Kids thought the ice cream was fine but they'd walk the few extra blocks for Torrico's.

Running a business is hard...

Very good favors. I had the coconut almond in a waffle cone. 3 scoops was plenty of ice cream for me, even though they are using a smaller scoop size. My wife had the mint chip in a waffle cone and said it was very tasty.

With tax it was $10.70 for two waffle cones.

Just went and ordered two flavors on a regular cake cone (not a waffle cone). The scoops were tiny (much smaller than Torico's) and the price was $4.25. The guy explained that if you order it in a cup instead of a cone you get significantly more ice cream, that they price it differently. The ice cream was tasty but the skewed pricing system is off putting.

Yes, I saw it on monday afternoon, I saw people and kids in there, but wasn't sure if it was open to public, or just a private event at that point.

Small space, but looks cute. I hope they can get enough business to survive!

Anyone tried it yet?

If it's very good (like Torricos), it will survive; assuming that the owners and staff know how to be friendly, honest and competent in dealing with customers.

My kids were peeking in the window on Monday and the owners called them in to try the ice cream. They gave them full size cups to try! It was delicious. As good as Torricos. Staff were extremely friendly. Lots of selections of ice cream too
