JCman8, you're right. So is the solution healthcare reform which disproportionately taxes middle class, therefore creating more poor and more poverty?

The mentality and lack of logic of Obamaphiles is staggering. The idea of the fools utopia is what voters are chasing. But with no concept that "free" isn't free. Anyone who claims Obama or anyone else is going to mess with the rich to solve our economic woes is dreaming. The middle class are paying for this sh*tshow called obamacare.

And many of you f*cking fools in Hudson County elected Obama, twice. Reap what you sow, morons.

Many who voted for him ain't stupid anyway. They just want to maximize the handouts they are getting. Perfectly rational.

Exactly. Complaining about income inequality, when almost half of the USA pays zero federal income tax, is absurd on every level.

I can't stand Obama. However, the reason there's record numbers of Americans on foodstamps and not paying income tax is because there's record levels of poverty. And the cause is not that half of the country has decided they are too lazy to work or care.

This is definitely a problem.

Yes, where only the rich will be able to afford the healthcare that 85% of the citizens had before Obamacare.

What a legacy!

Let me quote a comment from one of the "NYT Picks" of your favorite newspaper:

"And the sense of betrayal that people feel because Obama said they could keep their existing insurance policies if they liked them won't fade quickly. Americans can take incompetence, but bald-faced lying is another thing entirely."

As DeBlasio will soon find out, 'the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples money'.

Maybe Obama told them 'don't screw up like I did with Obamacare?'

. de Blasio?s postelection debut at the White House signaled that he may emerge as a leading national voice on the issues that animated his campaign. While a clutch of mayors gathered to meet with reporters after the meeting, it was Mr. de Blasio who spoke first, and most, as the others deferred to him.

He spoke of a movement beyond New York?s border that he hoped to tap. ?It?s clear something is happening around the country that the inequalities we?re facing are becoming just fundamentally unacceptable,? he said.

It's pretty cool news. Has anyone seen the picture on his FB page? You'd think the mayor could have gotten a haircut before the meeting hahahah. We have our very own hipster mayor in office.

Jersey City mayor meets with Obama, other leaders

By Terrence T. McDonald/The Jersey Journal
on December 13, 2013 at 5:18 PM

Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop and a handful of other big city mayors met with President Obama at The White House today, and Fulop said the group discussed Jersey City "for some time."

"We talked about where urban areas and mayors can achieve where Congress has not," said the mayor.

Fulop said the group, which included New York City Mayor-Elect Bill de Blasio and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, discussed Jersey City?s new paid sick time law, which goes into effect next month, and Fulop?s push to quiz the city?s weapons vendors on gun safety.
