Not if you treat them like normal people, like the teacher in the video. These animals won't give you a chance to react.

It's a shame to say it but the only solution is to carefully size up these groups of people when you pass them on the street (or go to the other side of the street) and be on your guard for sudden movements.

Seriously birth control and condoms should be given out like candy in our schools. This is the product of homes where parents do not care at all. The fact they think is fun should not be tolerated. If they were WHITE they'd be labeled as sociopaths.

I'm more in favor of real action. The mayor should make a new task force made up of diverse people roving BL with bats knocking out thug life types everywhere they go.

Either way, running and hiding is a crap option. Time to start putting savages in their place.

The lack of remorse and joy these f*cking kids get out of this is the most disturbing part. Borderline psychopathic.

Their is a big difference between an Indian kid that has been Americanized and is as much a part of the street culture as any other street kid compared to young Indian kids that you are talking about that stick together for language and cultural reasons. I grew up here and have personally seen all types of nationalities get involved in this even Indian, Pakistani, Polish, Italian, Guyanese, Irish, Philipino etc. They're from JC like everyone else born and raised here so those nationalities aren't immune from becoming thugs.

It's true that thugs can be of any race or nationality.

However, you'd be a fool to pretend that thugs are evenly distributed throughout the races. We ALL know that a huge percentage of the total thugs are black. Whether that's due to gangsta culture or some other reason, who knows, but that's just a fact.

So like the other commenters say, let's call a SWAN a SWAN and avoid them whenever we can.

Thanks.

I'll make a point of avoiding these roving mobs of Polish and Filipino teenagers.

Knockout is "played" by every race and nationality it isn't exclusivly a black thing. It has also been around longer then 2004 it just doesn't get much media attention probably because it involves juveniles mostly. The Hoboken knockout murder was even down played and the police made it seem like this "game" isn't as common as it really is.

When I was going to college in Philly, we had a saying "Stay clear of SWANs". SWANs referred to these groups of Slow Walking Angry... you get the rest.

The saying holds merit.

But we have Fulop now, I am sure he will put an end to it. ;)

The charge for an assault like that should be attempted murder.

There was a time not too long ago that parents, teachers and police would have beaten the crap out of any kids doing that...are we more civilized now?

How much do you want to bet that teacher was walking down that alley thinking "I'm going to be a good guy and act like this gang of black kids doesn't scare me. They'll respect that. I voted for Obama - twice. I'm one of the good ones!"

Then POW!

Take a bat to all those f*cking thugs skulls. Seriously. Time to take back Bergen Lafayette (insert any inner city ghetto here).

White guilt sucks.

Seriously, what happened birth control? These thugs confirm every "inner city" stereotype. Something like this happened to me long time ago on Church St in Manhattan, but the piece of crap had no punch.
