I have been, consistently. The music stops and the screaming begins.

A few years ago Morrissey was living in L.A. and was, for some inexplicable reason, very popular with the East L.A. Mexican gang members. I wonder if they got the irony of this song?

not sure if this is related, but there was some idiot blasting an air horn every minute or so until past midnight last night somewhere around Mercer and Monmouth or Montgomery and Monmouth.

Finally called the non emergency police. Quality of life is always an issue in the summer around DTJC. Hopefully Fulop can push the police to enforce noise ordinances more effectively...

It's between Wayne and Mercer. This is a rough neighborhood. It's nothing new, it's been like this for years, but now it's getting out of control. Couple of houses on Wayne and Barrow Street and one rundown house on Paulmier Pl. are big part of the problem. Lots of gang/drug related activity there.

I walked by that location yesterday around 5:45 and saw three cops standing around in the street and lots of folks on the stoop of a building on the east side of the street. Was there some sort of incident?
