Stopped by on the way home from work today. Just wanted to see if they had a take-out menu. They were having a friends and family event and invited me to have a drink on the house, how could I say no? The tequila menu is one of the best I've ever seen! I ordered a fantastic margarita. Place looks amazing, I really hope the neighborhood can support a restaurant of this caliber. Look forward to making a reservation.

Place looks Great ! Rosa Mexicana culture should be pretty good. Full blown out restaurant, unlike most that are pretty much glorified stands . But you have Pizzaria's and you have Italian Restaurants. That's my take.

I spoke with a few of the owners - they are former employees of the Rosa Mexicana chain. It will not be a taco place. They are planning to open April 2. Those few blocks of Grove Street might have to be renamed Restaurant Row bis.

Looks like these guys are hoping to open pretty soon. Does anybody know if this is a chain? The signage looks like it could be, but a search doesn't provide conclusive evidence. Anybody know what to expect? (authentic Mexican dishes, or more of a taqueria, or more Tex-Mex?).

Yeah the last 4 threads have been about Mexican places. This is good as the choices for Mexican were seriously lacking.

Hopefully one of these places will be like the ones in Chicago with giant burritos that are perfect after a night out.
