Everyone who has had, or thinks they've had, an incident in their yard please file a police report--whether you think it will do any good or not.

Thanks for posting this.

We live on 7th Street, close to Manila. On Saturday, my husband and I saw a guy walking through our alley way. We think he was trying to get into our backyard, but turned around and went back when our dogs went ballistic. My husband ran out to see what his story was, but he was gone.

He was white, in his 30s. I remember him having short, sandy-colored hair.

Amazing. We live three houses away from the police precinct, and it appears that this guy came back a few days later to get into your backyard!

Installing surveilance cameras is the best thing. I know someone who caught a some guy (whom he knew )stealing some decorations from his front porch, then found the decorations on the thiefs front porch! He then went and plastered notes all over the outside of crooks house telling his mother (whom he lived with) and neighbors, what a crook he was.

well - that is interesting - I live in that block and have a yard - i have heard the fence in the back rattle rather harshly a few times in the past week - I have even thought it was too loud to be the feral cats....

Amazing.

Houses between 6th and 7th. But, since the houses between 7th and 8th are similarly setup, he'd be able to yard hop around there just the same.

Was this behind the houses between 6th & 7th or 7th & 8th?

I love it - this gives me a wonderfully warm feeling.

My mother heard a crashing noise in my backyard and went to check it out. She came to find someone jumping down from the neighbors fence. He proceeded to circle around our cars until my mother started screaming at him. By the time I got down there he was long gone. I talked to a neighbor who was startled by the noise also and he said that 2 days ago, someone stole 2 ladders from his backyard.

This probably won't help but the description my mother gave was:

- Caucasian male
- late 30s
- stocky/muscular build
- wearing white t-shirt
- seemed drunk

This happened ~ 11:40pm today.

I'll be installing a camera to survey the area at night. Just a heads up to anyone living around this area.
