It is not a private heliport for GS. When I went in the (ferry) terminal some years ago, I remember seeing flyers for helicopter sight seeing around the city. I'm not sure if it's still there now.
I've also seen tourists get on / off from that heliport from time to time on the weekends. I'm not sure how much (or perhaps zero) Goldman sponsors / supports the heliport, but it is definitely not the sole user of that port. HTH.

I tried to look it up. From what I understand, I might just be a private heliport for goldman.

Hi,
I know it's a kind of dumb question, but I wasn't able to find the answer in Google. Where does the helicopter that departs from the heliport near Exchange Place go? Is it just for sight seeing? Or does that go to the nearby airport, like Newark and JFK? Thanks in advance. Atsushi
