A Las Vegas man facing charges in Hudson County in connection with the unlawful use of a credit card was arrested in Florida on Monday after allegedly trying to buy a computer using fake credit cards, officials said.

Isidro Aleman, 39, was arrested in Key Largo after trying to buy a computer at an Office Depot by flashing a Pennsylvania driver's license and using suspect credit cards in the name of Raul Mulet, according to press reports.

When the cards were denied, Aleman left the store, saying he was going to get cash. But a sheriff's officer later found him at the Key Largo Starbucks.

He gave police a Puerto Rican ID naming him as Luis Raul Acevedo and denied having any other identification. But the fake credit cards and driver's license with Aleman's photo were found nearby, reports said.

When Jersey City police pulled over a van in which Aleman was the passenger in March, the driver told cops the man sitting next to him was his brother, but he didn't know his name.

The passenger gave police three forms of identification with three different names before admitting he was Isidro Aleman, 39, of Las Vegas, reports said. Police found Aleman had 25 credit cards from various banks in the names of several people, reports said.

As a result of the Jersey City arrest, Aleman has since been indicted on the charges of theft and unlawful use of a credit card by a Hudson County grand jury, Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio said.

At the time of his arrest in Florida, he was free on a $15,000 Hudson County bail posted by a Massachusetts woman.

Aleman is also wanted in Missouri for a parole violation on a drug conviction.
