the cheddar apple scones are great.

and around x-mas they had little bags of gingerbread men, they were fantastic! REAL gingerbread, you could taste real ginger in there. amazing.

My husband and I went to Made With Love one evening after work and we really enjoyed our visit. We had some wonderful desserts, and the atmosphere was friendly and warm. I don't think it's a sit-all-day kind of place, the way Sweet Priscilla was -- it's more of an actual bakery -- but there is some seating, and we felt like we were welcome, so we lingered over our coffee for a little while.

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here."

Finally made the trek to MWL a couple of weeks ago, and was very pleased with their pastries and coffee. I ended up getting 2 boxes of assorted cookies, muffins scones as presents for friends, and suffice it to say that the recipients were very happy and grateful for the goodies.

I'm sad to see Priscille (and Ground) go, but I'm happy to have this organic bakery in town. I might even sign up for a cooking/baking class or two.

Some friends took one of Celeste's evening classes and raved about it.

just to add to the praise, her pear walnut bread is amazing. i'm looking forward to sampling everything else.
fyi, i asked celeste about her classes, and she said that, in addition to the ones on her schedule, she's happy to create personalized classes for four (or was it six?) or more.

My wife and I went Sunday morning. We split a cheddar apple scone and a chocolate banana bread. Both were very good. My only complaint would be the price, but I guess that's what you get at an artisanal bakery. (Total price tag - $9 and change, fwiw.)

I had the sunrise cookie which was fantastic. My only issue was that there was no iced coffee... I know it is 30 degrees out but iced coffee is a year round need for me.

The oatmeal cookies were so good, and we stopped there late around 7:45pm. We had some hot apple cider as well which was amazing. Also, Celeste is very nice and she is offering baking classes for those interested. I wish her all the best and I will definitely be stopping by on a weekly basis.

Are there any seats and tables to sit read the paper, and have a cup of coffee or tea along with their baked goods ?

There are. The back room has been turned into the baking area, which is also where they'll have the classes. In the front there are maybe 4-5 tables and I would guess about 8-12 chairs along the wall and toward the front window.

Stop by and check it out. It's really cute and, in my opinion, a lot nicer that SPs or Ground.

The pear galette was fantastic, and too large to finish. I'm looking forward to the baking classes.

God bless 'em. The place looks beautiful, the food is delicious. So far I've tried a blueberry muffin, a pumpkin-cranberry muffin, a chocolate chip cookie, and these insanely good chocolate salty little cookies that come in a 6 pack. (No, I'm not pigging out, I was sharing everything with friends. Ok, and pigging out.)

They were a little slow today, a little line was forming, but that will fix itself with practice I think.

I wish them a lot of luck in the neighborhood. They'll be getting way too many of my dollars.

530 Jersey Ave., Newark/CC, eastside in the middle of the block. Celeste took over the space that was Priscilla?s? Organic bakery with classes, kids party?s, and monthly dinners.

She has been a member of the VVP farmers? market this season?if you haven?t had the opportunity to try her goods; you?re in for something special. Please support her in this new endeavor.

I got to sneak a peek inside. Wow! what a transformation. marble countertops, vintage light fixtures, wood floors, warm colors on the walls. Celeste is creating what promises to be a gorgeous, welcoming space, and a real classy addition to the block. due to open next week, I think.
