And I've called between 9 am and 5 pm so it's not like I'm calling in the middle of the night (although there should at least be an answering machine then).

What the f890 good is an Action Bureau if there is no one there to take action.

Mayor's Inaction Bureau YOU'RE ON NOTICE!

During the Healy occupation of City Hall, I have called the "action" bureau many, many times --
and invariably been told, no matter what my
problem or beef is: We don't take care of that here.
When I ask: Who does handle that?
I am guaranteed to get: Don't know; but it
ain't us.

It has been so infuriating, that I have given up
bothering with them, which I am sure is the result
that the overall design of the "bureau" is hoping for.

Thank goodnesss for Councilperson Fulop's office.
They at least will answer and try to guide you in
the right direction. The mayor's action bureau sound
like sullen highschoolers getting life-experience credits in
lieu of classtime.

I've had a similar experience. You can't get through before 10am or after 330pm. But eventially they did answer and I did get a resolution.
