That is a good sign. But...running a store is different than running a stand (managing inventory, etc). As a customer, I give a fish store zero chance to fail - if I get a bad (or even marginal) piece of fish, I never come back. Having said that, I will definitely give this new business a try.

I've only bought fish from their stand at the market once but it was very good. I bought a really thick piece of cod loin did a high temp roast with a citrus, dill butter. Certainly wasn't cheap ($17/lb) but it was good.

Well this is a dream come true, and MANY YEARS in the making...
JC Fish Stand, which you may have seen at the VVP and Grove farmer's markets, will be opening a storefront on Jersey Avenue sandwiched between Subia's and Virile Barber Shop.
