I saw the demolition signs as well. It might be a large restaurant. Not sure about historic zoning, but as long as the structure is sound I'm not sure why they would demolish the building. It's not bad looking; I suppose the exterior could use some sprucing up but I kind of hope they keep the cool looking Native American head :)

Yesterday the building had signs warning people of demolition going on by a local company - Eglentowicz. Any idea what will go there? Any zoning/historic district reasons the building can't be demolished (they might just be gutting it).

Anyone else notice that fence around the outside of the Borinquen Hardware space? Look new to me. Does that mean something is finally going in there? I sure hope so!
