Ominous clouds are encroaching on the Burger Kingdom. Will the EZ Tow dragon back down? Will this empower the peasants and spread anarchy throughout the realm? And if the Burger Kingdom falls, can the principality of Shoprite be far behind?

Some one told me that once.

We should take shifts bringing this guy water and food (and a jar).

I'm surprised BK hasn?t called the PD to end this as of yet.. I'm pretty Cops can charge someone with a Disorderly, or even causing a scene..

I know its one thing to call the JCPD and have them take half hour or so to show up, but good god, this has been ongoing since 9:30 in morning..

they are probably slowly turning into the LAPD and will want to make a big scene out of this.

'what do you mean the stolen car is going 10 MPH on the freeway... who cares, just follow him until he stops!'

Good question...
...This is bigger than the police dept. though it's about parking.

That's amazing. The tow truck probably cannot tow the vehicle with passengers without breaking a law. If they are still there, the tow truck has probably lost far more money not towing other cars than he will ever get from towing the truck. I hope they stay there forever.

Why would they tow a vehicle with people inside, or why would people climb into a vehicle that is being lifted by a tow truck ??

This is from NJ.com. For anyone that has ever had a run in with EZ Towing.

Standoff in Burger King parking lot over towing
by Hudson County Now
Tuesday July 07, 2009, 1:32 PM
A standoff between a tow truck operator and a trucker is under way in the Burger King parking lot on Summit Avenue off Journal Square in Jersey City.

There's a standoff at the Burger King on the corner of Sip and Summit avenue in Jersey City, though there are no guns involved.

In the parking lot, EZ Tow Truck company has a truck on its hook with the driver and a passenger inside. The tow truck company says the truck was parked there illegally, while the truck's driver, Carl Pinzon, says his passenger was a paying customer and that he had parked the truck there to fix the truck tire.

The two sides have been sitting in the lot since about 9:30 a.m., and show no signs of breaking any time soon.

"They're holding us hostage here," said Tom Campbell, passenger in the truck.
