Why exactly do you think these Democrats are breaking the law and registering dead people to vote? For the fun of it?

And to answer this specifically, it is because Democratic leaning organizations tend to run voter registration drives on college campuses and urban areas where it's easy to target large numbers of people in a short time. Republicans do well in rural and suburban areas where voter registration drives aren't as easy to do.

Many of these organizations pay people for their time, and some of them attach incentives if people hit certain targets for number of new registrees. What happens is some worker who is lazy will fill out a bunch of random information and turn it in. Usually, these organizations are required by law to turn in everything unaltered, to make sure they don't toss out opposing party registrations.

This is exactly what happened to Acorn. Some workers got lazy and filled out forms for Mickey Mouse and other nonsense. The organization wasn't intentionally trying to commit fraud, they were the victim of lazy workers. But simpletons like you get a hold of it, don't understand how voter registration works or the difference between voter registration fraud, voter fraud, and election fraud, and they run with it.

The main problem to come out of instances like this is that Republicans see a loss in an election and instead of thinking "how can we improve ourselves and our message?" think "why are all these blacks and hispanics and liberals committing voter fraud?" and try to make laws that gerrymander districts or suppress votes in Democratic-leaning areas by cutting polling stations, voting hours, early voting, onerous registration laws, banning registration drives, and other ridiculous things.

THIS IS EXACTLY MY POINT! You don't even understand the difference between voter registration fraud and voter fraud!

Committing voter registration fraud doesn't require you to be successful in the act. The example in that article is a perfect demonstration of it. Someone tries to register dead people for voting, or for Mickey Mouse. The elections board reviews the registrations and says "of course this person can't vote."

See? It's incredibly easy to fill out a registration form for whatever you want. Actually getting that registration accepted and then getting somebody to show up and vote is an entirely different thing.

The main occasion when voter fraud happens is when somebody votes early or by absentee ballot and then shows up to their regular polling place to vote again (which wouldn't be stopped by ID laws). And guess what?? The election board catches that stuff! Just like the example posted in that other thread.

You say you want proof that voter fraud isn't an issue, but the proof is out there, constantly, in easy to find places, and yet you will willfully ignore it to push this stupid narrative of a problem that does not exist.

Here's a source for you to promptly ignore:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/th ... -id-laws-and-voter-fraud/
http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/v ... re-in-american-elections/

Even if there were hundreds of cases of voter fraud each year (which is an extremely generous estimate) it's not enough to sway any election.

If you really are concerned about elections being stolen, you should be concerned about laws that disenfranchise voters, or voter roll purges, or the fact that many ballot boxes are easy hackable electronics that have no paper audit trail and are proprietary software being handled by private companies. THOSE are the real issues.

Not some random jagoff like Ann Coulter voting twice in an election.

Virginia authorities charge man with felony voter fraud

The Washington Times - Friday, October 28, 2016

Virginia authorities have charged a man who registered voters for a liberal political advocacy group with voter registration fraud, saying he filed false applications for people who do not exist.

Vafalay Massaquoi, 30, is accused of inventing applicants and forging voter registration forms that were filed with the Alexandria Office of the General Registrar. He?s charged with two felony counts of forging a public record and two felony counts of voter registration fraud.

An Alexandria Police Department spokeswoman said Mr. Massaquoi worked for New Virginia Majority, a progressive nonprofit that works with people of color, women, youth and gay communities.

Officials with New Virginia Majority did not respond to requests for comment Friday.

Authorities did not say how many false voter registration applications were filed.

Commonwealth?s Attorney Bryan L. Porter said no votes were cast using the fraudulent registrations.

Yes, voter fraud hardly ever happens. This is yet another example of voter registration fraud which is very easy to commit but very hard to turn in to actual votes. It's funny how people like you harp on and on about voter fraud but have so much trouble finding incidents of actual voter fraud.

It's sad that you and many other people can't understand the difference.

It's not like you just fill out the form and voila! you're registered to vote. The elections office still verifies who you are and that you're eligible to vote. Just because someone checks the "Yes I'm a citizen" box doesn't mean that you're automatically allowed to vote.

Early voting is an abomination. You should get off your ass and vote on election day, or apply for an absentee ballot.

I am still amazed how Trump called this one...

He has been right about many things this election season. He has a deeper insight into the world than most people.

Like when he said yesterday:
"When you're working for Hillary, she wants to let people just pour in. You could have 650 million people pour in and we do nothing about it," Trump said. "Think of it. That's what could happen. You triple the size of our country in a week."

650 millions, no less... that would be more than all of South America, Central America and Canada combined moving to the US in one week!!!
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/th ... -a-week-lets-do-the-math/

That shows such a deep insight into the world indeed. Haha.

Oh JcMan8, you are so entertaining. You clearly don't like facts but you've got very good jokes!

Now the FBI conducting an inquiry about Manafort and Russia. Obama must have made a call, pretty typical DOJ move.

I hope the FBI digs deeper than they did with Hillary's interview / immunity deals.

Btw, the point about CNN secretly feeding Hillary with debate questions in advance is important because it confirms what Trump has been saying.

As the very liberal Washington Post put it: Hacked emails suggest Trump was right after all: Clinton got previews of some debate questions

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/th ... ns/?tid=pm_politics_pop_b

Since some of this occurred during the primaries, Sanders supporters should be furious about this rigging.
