Does anyone who is not affiliated with this school know anything about it?
Personally, I have never heard of the school, but I am new to the area.

I am returning to college after 19 years to complete my degree at NJCU. I highly recommend people who don't have the time to pursue their MBA to attend this session. The classes are geared around working professionals. And there are so many perks to the school. I wish I would have taken advantage of the tuition reimbursement while I was working.

For those who are even considering law school, they also have affordable LSAT prep courses.

This is at a great location and easy to get to.

So check it out....

NJCU graduate business classes debut on the waterfront

COTTON DELO -- JOURNAL STAFF -- 1/17

Evening classes for New Jersey City University's graduate business program started yesterday at a new facility in the Harborside Financial Center, 286 Washington St., Jersey City.

The new location was selected with an eye toward attracting business people employed by banking, securities, real estate and economic outfits on the waterfront.

Students in the program do coursework toward master's of science degrees in accounting and finance, and many of the requirements can be satisfied online to accommodate work schedules.

"Most of our graduate students already are working in the field, and they've come so that they can advance in the field or just for their own information - to grow intellectually," said Dr. Sandra Bloomberg, dean of the college of professional studies.

Bloomberg says enrollments are up since last spring when graduate courses were still held on the NJCU campus - from 70 to 115 - and the move should make them more attractive to the 30,000 residents of Downtown Jersey City.

Ultimately, she hopes the site will become a multidisciplinary host of music and art seminars and workshops - as well as weekend programs.

For information on the program, call (201) 200-3321.
