Wittpenn Bridge to be closed Saturday, Sunday for paint job Published: Jul. 15, 2022, 10:43 a.m. By Ron Zeitlinger | The Jersey Journal The Wittpenn Bridge thats links Kearny and Jersey City will be closed this weekend for painting and an adjustment of the lift span machinery, the state Department of Transportation (DOT) said Friday. The work was originally scheduled last week, but was rescheduled due to weather.
