Wade, which will eliminate the constitutional right of women to control not only their bodies but also the future trajectory of their lives.As a husband, father and elected official, I understand that preserving and expanding access to abortion care is central to achieving true reproductive justice. I pledge to continue advocating for reproductive rights, including state and federal legislation codifying a woman’s ability to control her reproductive choices and bodily autonomy. And for the Jersey City residents who I serve, I also want to reaffirm my administration’s unequivocal commitment to lead this work through local programs and policies that support and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care.
