Sitting here staring out the window... MDM, what's the word on prospective snow this coming week?

Models show 5 - 8 inches of wet slop up to 20 inches of wet snow (shovel the flat roof time for me). Air temps are right near the freezing point, so if the storm moves a little inland we get more rain. Stays out to sea, we get way more snow.

The sea surface temperatures off the coast are well above average this year. Which is why we keep getting these Nor'easters . Lots of energy to feed the storms.

Channel 11 WPIX just reported that the Wednesday/Thursday storm (Nor'easter) could produce up to 20 inches of snow. Yikes!
