Nick is just upset he can?t bang Yvonne. We all enjoy watching his attempts to woo her. Just a sad, lonely guy.

Actually, the rent control laws were updated by Councilman Solomon last year. It is based on the amount of profit a landlord can make and the formula was actually reduced. The former formula was based on interest compared to banks which was high in the 1980s and is near zero now. Any increases are based on repairs and a return for the landlord, it is not based on taxes. Call up the rent leveling board in JC for clarification. In fact the city use to publish on its website the amount of the increase. The increase for the past eleven years have been around one percent. The city should publish again the rent leveling board increases so nicky can look them up online.

The vast majority of SALT deductions goes to high earners. How is that equitable to middle income families?

Nonsense, JC tax rates are far less than NJ average rates. Why? JC taxpayers pay less than 20% of its own school costs, sponging from suburban taxpayers.

Ever since the changes to the SALT deduction at the federal level, how much of these supposedly low property taxes can JC property owners realistically deduct from their taxes? (after taking into account the state tax deduction)?

Being a property owner in a high tax state has changed dramatically since the changes to the SALT deductions. To then layer on additional tax levies (such as this Arts trust) without the benefit of tax deductions is not reasonable.

Jersey City voters to decide whether to create new arts and culture trust fund

Updated 12:57 PM; Today 12:56 PM
By Patrick Villanova | The Jersey Journal

When Jersey City voters cast their ballots in the November election, they?ll be picking more than just the president.

https://www.nj.com/hudson/2020/09/jers ... s-culture-trust-fund.html

I was on the fence about this, but I realized this passing would most likely drive Yvonne and the generals in her NIMBY army like ThaWheelman and thebigguy insane, so I voted yes. I have tons of money to burn, a couple hundred extra a year for spite is totally worth it.

I think I should do a fundraiser for nicky, so he can get therapy. His life is at a standstill and he cannot go forward because he is so fulled of rage at truth.

Maybe JC taxpayers should consider paying to educate their own kids instead of sponging off suburban taxpayers first?
