Here?s how you can bring holiday cheer to the less fortunate in Hudson County Today 9:30 AM (12/7/2019) By David Mosca | The Jersey Journal The holiday season is underway in Hudson County. While shopping for friends and family, you can be doing the same for those less fortunate. Organizations all over the county are preparing toy drives so every child can get a gift this season. Here are some places in Hudson County where you can donate and bring a little Christmas cheer to others: Jersey City The city?s 23rd annual toy drive is open until Dec. 11. All gifts must be dropped off unwrapped at the Resident Response Center, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call 201-547-4900 for more information. The Kids 1st Inc. (24 Pine Crest Road) Holiday Party and Gift-Giving Program is accepting donations of toys or cash that would allow the organization to purchase donations. Gifts will be given during their holiday party Dec. 21. Assemblywoman Angela McKnight?s fourth annual Toy Drive Holiday Social will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 2324 Kennedy Blvd. Bring an unwrapped toy to benefit the children in 31st District hospitals located in Jersey City and Bayonne.
