LOL... Oh the horror! I am more concerned about the welfare of the child crying in the background as the male voice provides his foul mouth description of the driver. Hope the driver was finally able to get over to the Holland Tunnel.

JC animal in action: some asswipe decided to disobey instructions from a policewoman guarding an intersection and drove onto the path of runners. Apparently, some runners didn’t take too kind to this and pulled him from the car and fisticuffs ensued.

As expected Grand Street is a parking lot going westbound with plenty of horns and music playing.
Just saw an ambulance coming from Paulus Hook Washington Street travelling in eastbound lane of Grand Street all the way to JCMC. Like the Mayor says.... people will just have to get used to these things. I hope the person in the ambulance understand.

Here are the street closed. The biggies other than Washington are montgomery and jersey avenue. Anyone should plan to stay roughly west of jersey avenue before they reopen for traffic around 10:30-11. Thankfully the rain will have stopped before the race starts.

I think this was was the race that screwed up traffic all day long in DTJC last Fall. Not sure what the improvement is in the race course but crossing Marin multiple times, Grove, Grand, Montgomery will make vehicle traffic impossible.
And don't forget new bike lanes have reduced streets like Montgomery down to one lane. This will be an event watching the cyclists take out runners who venture into the sacred green space.

Thanks for sharing regarding expected traffic..., cars and runners! This is a fantastic course though it can be muggy some years. The entrance in LSP and time spent there is just glorious. Highly recommend, I am really sad I had to bail this year due to a foot injury.
