IMO it's better than anything downtown. Also better than Burger Joint and Corner Bistro. And at the risk of being run out of town, it's a different burger, but on par with Park Tavern.

The only one of those I've had is Burger Joint, which I wasn't too impressed by.

We've been to D&D 3-4 times so far. It's more towards Shake Shack (which we love), it's not quite as good as that but it's a block away from our apt and you can't beat that. Agreed it is better than Left Bank.

I walked by and spoke to them. Very nice young guys and seems like they are going to keep the interior and bring it back to its roots and redo the outside of the building. A friend told me their location in Montclair is absolutely delicious!

Walked by last night, place is in process of being gutted out.
We poked our heads in, it looks like they tore out the cheap fake ceiling panels and an original tin ceiling was exposed, hope they clean it up and keep it.
Anyone know what the building was before becoming Liberty Tax?

Yes, they're still planning on it. They're aiming for an October opening but I think they're still in really early stages and there's a lot of work that has to happen in that space, so I don't think it will be that soon.
