This is a segment of the city video that I downloaded, it is a tax appeals from 2012 to 2017. The tax assessor is speaking to the city council on 7/18/18 at the council meeting. What is not said is the fact that many of these properties received tax breaks and are now running to tax court to get lower taxes after the tax abatements have expired. Newport did that to all of their properties in the past.
