If you are ever in Bayonne, there is a Polish store right next to Judicke Bakery, on Broadway. The store on Hutton reminds me of that place. It has more variety since it has been established for a long time.

Place is weak, they had no goodies to heat at home like stuffed cabbage, pierogi or soups etc.
I asked and got dumb looks. This is the spot to load up at and worth the drive: https://www.piast.com/

I visited, but was sad there was no steam table or even platters to microwave at home. I'd totally buy a platter of kielbasa, pierogi and stuffed cabbage for lunch. The different kinds of kielbasa looked amazing!

I hope that this outlet lasts and doesn't shut down after a few months when the owner realises they are not able to make enough income. Some other Polish stores in JC suffered that fate...

Glad to learn about Jola; I visited yesterday, and got the first kielbasa I've enjoyed in a few years, since Stanley's closed.
They also have roasted buckwheat groats, another rare treat.

This indeed is a great place and it looks like it has good reviews already on Google. Highly recommended, just wish it was a little closer to downtown...

Yes, it's 110 Hutton (less than a quarter block off of Central) and right now food sold to be warmed at home. Soups look very good - will try next time. Who knows, if they get enough business they may look to serve items hot.
I also tried the poppy seed roll - nice sized, fresh, tasty, plenty of poppy seeds and not too sweet - I bought that, a jar of red current jam, and a packet of sweet paprika (size similar to packet of Knor sauce mixes) -- all for under $5. Pastry alone in a lot of other places would be close to that price.

I didn't know the name but google says it is:
Jola Polish Deli Address: 110 Hutton St, Jersey City, NJ 07307, USA Hours: Closed ? Opens 9 a.m. Wed. Phone: +1 201-388-1635 It is like 2 doors down from Ozu Foods (one of my other favorite places). As of now all of the soups/pierogis/stews etc are sold to be heated up at home. For very reasonable prices you can have just about a full meal within a few minutes of turning on the stove (my kind of "cooking"). They also do have some breads/pastries - I had a poppy seed roll similar to what my Slovak grandmother used to make.

Will they boil up some fresh pierogies for you? What is the address and phone number - anybody know? Sounds great. Hot soups? Brooklyn Rye Bead?

This place is great! I have had several variations of their pierogis/soups/stews and all were good meals to take home/heat up. They have tons of Polish snacks and kielbasas as well.

I usually don't walk down Hutton, but by chance did and found an authentic Polish shop opened recently. It's a small shop off Central Avenue (between Central and Summit). Has little of everything -- dry goods (noodles, spices, real honey, etc.), meats (ham, sausage, etc..). Some very nice homemade soup and other goodies.
Owners are very nice. Bought some items which were delicious .
