Business administrator, redevelopment chief departing Jersey City

The Jersey Journal Two top officials with Mayor Steve Fulop's administration are departing city government. Business Administrator Bob Kakoleski was appointed to that role soon after Fulop became mayor in July 2013. Kakoleski was hired as Rutherford's borough administrator on Tuesday night. David Donnelly, tapped by Fulop to lead the autonomous Jersey City Redevelopment Agency in 2014, is stepping down to take a job with a family business in Texas. Donnelly is a former Ward B councilman. More Note: Since Jan. 1st: -Fulop has replaced the city's housing and recreation directors and its chief diversity officer. -Corporation Counsel Jeremy Farrell is going to the autonomous Municipal Utilities Authority to become its full-time executive director. -The autonomous Jersey City Housing Authority is also seeking a new chief.
