New home, new life for Jersey City Museum?

New Jersey has given its blessing to a deal that would allow the Jersey City Redevelopment Agency to issue $10 million in bonds to pay for the purchase of a Journal Square building intended as the home of a new city-owned museum and community center.

Mayor Steve Fulop said in a statement that his administration envisions Journal Square as the "cultural center of the city," with the museum as an anchor. The Sip Avenue building, also known as Pathside, is owned by Hudson County Community College.
