Five-way race for Jersey City's Downtown council seat Posted October 30, 2017 at 06:40 PM | Updated October 30, 2017 at 06:41 PM By Terrence T. McDonald |The Jersey Journal It?s been more than 10 years since Jersey City?s Ward E saw a council race as competitive as this year?s five-person contest. In 2013, Councilwoman Candice Osborne sailed onto the council after winning over 67 percent of the vote. Four years earlier, then-Councilman Steve Fulop won re-election after the first round of balloting against four challengers, grabbing 63 percent. Not exactly nail biters. http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... y.html#incart_river_index
