So does Trump giving Hoboken $230M mean Zimmer is going to stay on for the next election as an incumbant and give up her fight against global warming?

Trump administration releases $230M for Hoboken flood barrier project

HOBOKEN -- When Dawn Zimmer announced she would step down as mayor next year to fight global warming beyond Hoboken she attributed her decision to what she said was President Donald Trump's disregard for the need to address climate change.

So on Wednesday, Zimmer emphasized the significance of word from the Trump Administration that it was releasing $230 million in federal funding for a waterfront flood barrier network intended to protect her waterfront city from storm surges that she and others say will be more likely as the Earth gets warmer, weather events intensify, and sea levels rise.
