Did anybody on this forum hear the shots on Friday and know what time this occured? From comments I read in the past on here I know a decent amount of people live within a few blocks of this shooting. I'm assuming since teens were involved and it happened in the afternoon it's possible it occurred during lunch for Ferris students or as school let out. Anybody know anything more then what's in the article?
Another daytime shooting happened by Lincoln High also a couple days before this one that also lacked details in the article like if students were involved and the exact time it happened.

By Patrick Villanova The Jersey Journal An 18-year-old wanted in last week's daylight shooting that left one teenager injured in Jersey City has been arrested, authorities announced. Jahil Jackson of Wallis Avenue was apprehended Monday after police spotted him in the area of the Booker T. Washington housing complex, Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said. Jackson had been identified as a suspect in the Friday shooting at Bates and Colden streets, which sent a 17-year-old to a hospital with a non life-threatening wound to his leg, Morrill said. When police saw Jackson Monday at 1:30 p.m., he fled on foot but was caught on Montgomery Street, Morrill added. He was charged with two counts of criminal attempt, two counts of aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, and various weapons offenses. Morrill said last week that the afternoon shooting was the result of a fistfight among teenagers. http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... ght_shooting_in_jers.html
