Hudson County register hit with complaint from election panel

Hudson County Register Diane Coleman is the subject of a three-count complaint from state election officials because she failed to submit any fundraising reports for her successful 2016 campaign for the Democratic nomination for register.

Coleman, 70, did not file three sets of the required reports prior to and after last year's Democratic primary, which Coleman won decisively against two opponents.

At the time, Coleman was a Jersey City councilwoman who resigned that position in January when she became register.
