That's likely precisely what they are doing.

weirdly, certain streets (example: 3rd btwn Coles & Jersey) have this signage too, though it was just milled and paved like a month ago. They better not be going through the expense of doing it again. What's there now is NOT a temporary paving, it's final...stop lines painted and everything.

FYI, I got some intel from the PM running the project. We are moving and needed to know WTF the plan was for our moving truck.

They are starting at 1st and working up to 6th, focused on milling. Then I believe they will do Brunswick to Manila.

Then they will do paving, starting at 1st and repeating it.

If they're doing either milling or paving they clear the entire block(s). From curb to curb. And they definitely tow-

One annoyance is that they post an excessive number of signs over far more blocks than they could possibly do in one day. And so a lot of cars need to go elsewhere for no good reason.

Then there's always the rain...

Didn't notice, sorry. Honestly I tried to stay away from the fumes/construction, so I walked around the block in the other direction when running errands.

Yes. The NO PARKING signs were placed by my area (near Manila)
last week.

It is now 11:07AM and still no sign of any activity. Why do the city do this?
Advance notice about no parking and work being done on the streets and when the
day arrives, nothing?

Does anybody even see blocks posted for No Parking?

Since this is "scheduled but non-emergency work", I believe the City rule is that No Parking must be fully posted with signage at least 48 hours in advance...

"During working hours of 7:30 am through 5:00 pm on Monday through Friday, parking restrictions
will be enforced as posted"

It's now about 9:20AM and sadly, not even a peek of any "work" or activities happening right now.
Money probably being spent right now for non existent work...
