The FBI were never granted access to the HRC campaign servers in Brooklyn... they took the word of a 3rd Party Tech Company who were responsible for the security of the servers.

Frankly the real DNC cover-up involves the three brothers who had government clearance, provided technical support to the DNC leadership and who the FBI know stole sensitive information from Wasserman Schultz and the other DNC hacks.

Convenient to keep the Russians on the hook.
