To be fair to Tern, the reports were regular, flat and loud. There was a string of eight, sounded all the same. Granted the high humidity helped . My roommate is pretty experienced with that kinda stuff and he was already feet on the floor .

The sounds y'all heard were fireworks in the alley between 4th and 5th streets at precisely 12:14 AM.

I'm in Harsimus and definitely heard the same thing. Couldn't tell if they were shots or late night fireworks.

Not sure if related but I was walking through the park around 9-10ish and saw several young adults popping balloons and laughing.
