Kaufman Leather. Used to be on Lafayette st in Manhattan, now in Brooklyn. If you work with leather you should at least visit this place: http://www.kaufmanshoe.com/

Hi all - I have a few handbag repair projects that been sitting there for a while, and I think it's time I finally get to them. I need to get some leather related products as leather glue, dyes, conditioner/balm, etc (to repair a rip job, and dye another badly discolored bag).

Are there any such places in NYC (perhaps in the garment district somewhere?), or NJ (as long as it's public transportation accessible), that I can go to? I've found a few online places to make the purchase. However, if I can buy them "locally", I'd prefer to do that.

Thank you in advance!
