subtract office workers, divide by districts, and then by shifts.

add new condos residents to population, and you get the picture.

fulop gave 70 tax giveaways to his wall street masters, so, there is no money for cops just to keep up with growing city. now we have 2 cops directing traffic at newark and kennedy and newark and summit, while they can do better tasks. and when crossing guards call in sick, there is even fewer cops available.

A 29-year-old Jersey City man was arrested Wednesday after authorities say he shot at a vehicle near Berry Lane Park, authorities said.

Adam Wideman, of Van Nostrand Avenue, was arrested and charged with three counts each of conspiracy and criminal attempted murder for shooting at the vehicle, which had three people inside at the time, Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said.

No one was seriously injured in the incident at Bramhall Avenue and Woodward Street, but the driver of the vehicle suffered a minor abrasion to his face caused by broken glass, Morrill said.

An officer working nearby heard the gunshots and was able to radio to police to stop a fleeing vehicle. Wideman's car was stopped at Bayview and Garfield avenues and he was taken into custody, Morrill said.

The investigation is ongoing, Morrill added.
