On Tuesday March 28th at 7:00 pm the Nelson Avenue Block Association will hold their monthly meeting in St. Anne's Centennial Hall auditorium 253 Congress St. between Kennedy Blvd. and Nelson Ave. in the vicinity of the Western Slope area up in the Heights. The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month. The evening's guest speaker will be Patrick G. Stamato, Director of the J.C. Department of Public Works. He will answer questions regarding city owned property and it's responsibilities along with garbage and recycling concerns. There will also be a representative from the J.C. Resident Response Center to answer general questions and the community police for crime concerns. New members are always welcomed and a good way to stay informed on neighborhood issues in your area.
