Outside of PC Madison, I imagine most people don't even think twice about celebrating Christmas in a "non-offensive" manner.

President elect Trump Thank You Rally in Wisconsin.

Nice to see the President elect standing in front of decorated Christmas trees and a red and white Merry Christmas USA on front of the podium.

I was actually relieved, cause I don't have to hear your whining in the years to come! You get to hear ours!

Alt-left in meltdown over Trump open to a better relationship with Russia. Alt-left then goes ballistic when he plays hardball with the other commies in China. Go figure.

The only thing the repubs in Congress prevented was Obama spening us into Oblivion. This so called recovery has been a game of smoke and mirrors. Now that the fed will start to raise rates you will feel some pain. But that of course can be blamed on Trump.

The Trump plan has been revised to look more like the GOP House plan. The expensing part wasn't in earlier version of the Trump plan. From what I heard from Larry Kudlow (who is a Trump advisor), the plan is to now include it.

I think Trump will get most of what he wants via the House. The Senate though will be an issue. The GOP has a bare majority and has some GOP members that aren't that conservative.

There will be some major compromises during the reconciliation process between the House and the Senate.

1. Replacing depreciation with simple expensing. This is yuge for any business that has to make a big capital investment, in particular start-ups. Instead of a complicated set of rules where you depreciate your capital investment over 3, 5, 27.5 years, etc... you take it all at once against your revenues. If you have a loss, you carry it over for the next fiscal year.

Obama's administration got congress to pass accelerated depreciation as part of the stimulus, which has helped boost manufacturing. Looks like Trump & Co. may take this a lot further.

2. LLCs, S corps, LLPs, and other pass through corporate entities will be taxed at the lower (proposed) corporate rate of 15% instead at the higher personal income tax rates. So someone who runs an LLC, after paying themselves a salary in tune with their level of responsibility, can pass through the rest of the profit at a lower corporate rate. This is a big tax cut for the hundreds and thousands of pass through corporations out there.

Exactly! Had Lynch not interfered with Comey from the start Hillary would be in jail and Biden would probably be the President elect right now.

The recount cost $9 million and resulted in 131 votes previously uncounted for Trump

That is $68,000 per new Trump vote discovered.
well, she was entitled to ask for a recount. But honestly, if she is so concerned, she should not have run as she probably took crucial votes away from hillary

The Wisconsin recount has been finished. Trump gained 162 votes.

What a tremendous waste of time and money.

Pope Francis deliberately cautioned us to be wary of fear-mongering, even just three days before the election. He claimed it weakens us. Are you calling the Pope a liar? (I only say that in response to your recurring statement about not calling Jesus a liar, whatever that means.)

Meanwhile, an effort is afoot to influence the electors. The recounts did not work, so on to "fake news" and "Russian hacking".

Next we will hear - invalidate the election!

There are some very stupid people out there spreading some nice fauxrage about how terrible it is that Russia "influenced the election."

Which begs the question, how? Even if Russia hacked the emails, they only exposed how utterly corrupt Hillary, the DNC, and the mass media were. Russia could expose videos showing Hillary killing people in her office and the Democrat response would be to investigate Russia.

The problem is the Russians also hacked the GOP. But we'll never see how utterly corrupt they are since there was no reason for the Russians to leak those emails. Fauxrage? Go have a slice of pizza...in DC. The CIA is not one of those shitty fake news sites frequently used to prove a point in this thread.

No, Russia didn't hack the RNC. That was some fake news put out by the NYT.

There was absolutely no evidence they were hacked, the RNC denied it, and the FBI disagreed with the CIA's conclusion as to Russia's motivations.

Like I said, Russia could expose videos showing Hillary killing people in her office, and people like you - desperate to deflect from indefensible acts - would be screaming about why we need to immediately investigate Russia.
