Jersey City school board seeks resumes for board vacancy By Anyone interested in filling a vacancy on the Jersey City school board has until Dec. 13 to submit a resume to the Board of Education. John Reichart resigned from the nine-member board on Nov. 18. Whoever is appointed by the board to take his place would remain in the seat until January 2017, after a special election determines who will serve the remainder of Reichart's term.
