Trump is ahead by over 27k votes in WI. How many more Hillary votes are they going to find in a recount?

.
Fox News 11/26/2016: ?"The campaign for Hillary Clinton is joining an effort by Jill Stein, another candidate defeated by Donald Trump in the 2016 White House race, for a recount of votes in three pivotal states, despite Clinton having already conceded the race."

Wow remember how Team Clinton and the media ripped President elect Trump a new one when he said he may not accept the election results? What a difference a loss makes. Gee will the media say Team Clinton joining the recount effort seems to cast doubt on American democracy? Will Hillary say it is "horrifying"?

NYT 10/16/2016: ?In a remarkable statement that seemed to cast doubt on American democracy, Donald J. Trump said Wednesday that he might not accept the results of next month?s election if he felt it was rigged against him ? a stand that Hillary Clinton blasted as ?horrifying? at their final and caustic debate on Wednesday.?

On the legislative front...... Reported by the WSJ

The NRA is working with the Congress Critters to prepare a number of bills once Trump takes office. The one that will have the biggest effect on NJ is requiring states (like with driver's licenses) offer reciprocity when it comes to concealed carry permits.

If passed as a NJ resident, you could apply for an out of state permit in another state that offers it. NJ would then be forced to honor it. NJ could also do what Illinois did (ordered by the 7th Circuit court via the expansion of the Heller decision) and become a 'shall issue' state.

NJ does have concealed carry.. but it is generally reserved to those who have the right political connections.

I think I'll need a citation on that. Democrats have just had a more realistic approach to Cuba than Republicans. Democrats have realized that normalizing relations will work better than a failed embargo that has accomplished nothing for 60 years.

The "normalization" still has hundreds trying to escape by boat or plan. The master propaganda lie was the healthcare and before the embraced Canada... Michael Moore et all pointed to Cuba. Of course always leaving out the social repression, particularly on gays and blacks.

What is not to believe? The socialist democrats have always spoken favorably of Fidel and his island utopia. Republicans historically have been anti-communist though they have not been adverse to geo-political alliances.

Currently Putin and Trump agree the war against global Islamic Jihad and ISIS is the common objective... who knows what follows?

Very bad year for the democrats... Hillary looses the election and now they've lost their most favorite totalitarian butcher, Fidel Castro.

They will need Air Force 1 and 2 to get Obama, Schumer, Reid, Pelosi, Sanders and all the DNC and the US media rump swabs down to Havana.

I am willing to bet CNN, MSNBC, NBC will broadcast live... the best thing about this is that Trump can finish his cabinet appointment etc. without all the left wing media BS of the last 2 weeks.

A fine way to memorialize the end of the Obama Presidency and the democrat party... with BHO giving the eulogy at Castro's Funeral.

But when I read that Breitbart is alt-right and pro-Nazi, it cracks me up-Breitbart conceived Breitbart News while on a trip to Israel, he and his co-founder were Jewish, and one of Breitbart's platform is to support Israel. Sure sounds like a bunch of neo-Nazis to me!

And yes, you can be somewhat critical of Israel with being anti-Semitic-as you can be critical of Obama without being racist, but tell that to any Democrat and they'll dispute it.

i just can't wait to see trump and his supporters eat crow in 2020 because we know manufacturing jobs are NOT coming back to the US en masse. and guess what, higher interest rates and a stronger dollar will not help matters.

LOL What is this obsession of yours to dress-up violent left-wing extremist organizations like BLM or leftist media like HuffPo as the final arbiters of truth and justice (normally, I would add the American Way, but I know how that phrase puts off progressives, thinking of America as the ideal country).... but I digress.

Parroting typical indoctrinated leftist totalitarian thinking, you truly believe there can be no difference of opinions, free exchange of ideas or that this country has not made any progress since the founding fathers wrote the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

And everybody else who does not share your leftist view is a..... NAZI!

You would not make a good mediator.

California has plenty of say now through their electoral college votes. The system wasn't designed for them to get any more say and it is not going to change. (Fun fact, current "progressive" icon Alexander Hamilton was the one who heavily advocated for the Electoral College system and was very much opposed to direct democracy). Adapt to the rules or leave.

And you're right that I oppose affirmative action programs that discriminate against applicants on the basis of their race. One of the nice benefits of a Trump presidency is his SCOTUS will be able to finally scrap those programs. They can be replaced by fairer ones that provide advantages based on economic background and not race.

And you can prattle about people voting "against their interest" all you want. It's not very persuasive, or accurate. You can continue to have a temper tantrum about the results, but as the country moves on, many in the heartland will benefit from Trump's policies, and his approval ratings will only continue to rise.

I think those people in the heartland who gave him the win is going to be disappointed. Maybe this time they'll realize they voted against their interest.

He has a mandate, as has been explained many times on this board, including directly to you.

And you must have missed this post. Allow me to direct your attention to it:

Hillary's popular vote lead is primarily only due to one state, California. It would hardly be democratic if we all had to follow the will of that one state, so it's a good thing that's not how it works!

Computer scientists urge Clinton campaign to challenge election results
By Dan Merica, CNN
Updated 10:23 PM ET, Tue November 22, 2016

(CNN)Hillary Clinton's campaign is being urged by a number of top computer scientists to call for a recount of vote totals in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania, according to a source with knowledge of the request.

The computer scientists believe they have found evidence that vote totals in the three states could have been manipulated or hacked and presented their findings to top Clinton aides on a call last Thursday.
The scientists, among them J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, told the Clinton campaign they believe there is a questionable trend of Clinton performing worse in counties that relied on electronic voting machines compared to paper ballots and optical scanners, according to the source.

The group informed John Podesta, Clinton's campaign chairman, and Marc Elias, the campaign's general counsel, that Clinton received 7% fewer votes in counties that relied on electronic voting machines, which the group said could have been hacked.
Their group told Podesta and Elias that while they had not found any evidence of hacking, the pattern needs to be looked at by an independent review.
Neither Halderman nor John Bonifaz, an attorney also pressing the case, responded to requests for comment on Tuesday evening. Their urging was first reported by New York magazine.
A message left with President-elect Donald Trump's transition team also was not immediately returned.

There were widespread concerns about hacking ahead of this month's election, including the Obama administration accusing Russia of attempting to breach voter registration data. But election officials and cybersecurity experts said earlier this month that it is virtually impossible for Russia to influence the election outcome.
A former Clinton aide declined to respond to questions about whether they will request an audit based on the findings.
Additionally, at least three electors have pledged to not vote for Trump and to seek a "reasonable Republican alternative for president through Electoral College," according to a statement Wednesday from a group called the Hamilton Electors, which represents them.
"The Founding Fathers created the Electoral College as the last line of defense," one elector, Michael Baca, said in a statement, "and I think we must do all that we can to ensure that we have a reasonable Republican candidate who shares our American values."

Desperation time.

Not surprisingly the same group that was screaming bloody murder about Trump when he said he would challenge the results.... this is why you people lost!
