I remember Jaime Vazquez quite well, the best way to describe him as a councilperson, he was outspoken as Boggiano and asked questions as Yun. He was his own person, never a rubber stamp.

He was 67. Vazquez is being remembered as a fighter for his constituents, a war hero and an unabashed social liberal. He was elected to represent Downtown on the City Council in 1985 and remained in the seat for 12 years. More
