More than 70 top Republican elected officials and party operatives have signed a letter calling for the Republican National Committee to stop funding Donald Trump?s presidential campaign. Former members of Congress, RNC staffers and other party insiders say the RNC should focus on Senate and House races where Republicans face tough elections.

The letter, first reported by POLITICO, says Trump has alienated ?millions of voters? since the Republican National Convention with his repeated comments and gaffes that drew widespread criticism.

?Every dollar spent by the RNC on Donald Trump?s campaign is a dollar of donor money wasted on the losing effort of a candidate who has actively undermined the GOP at every turn,? the letter states. ?The RNC should shift its strategy and its resources to convince voters not to give Hillary Clinton the ?blank check? of a Democrat-controlled Congress to advance her big government agenda.?

Yikes

Scott Adams, famed cartoonist of Dilbert, had already been mocking Clinton for pairing ?the idea of President Trump with nuclear disaster, racism, Hitler, the Holocaust and whatever else makes you tremble in fear.?

The incitement got so bad that Adams, in a satire on blog.dilbert.com, ?endorsed? Clinton. He did so, he explained, ?for my personal safety.? Quoth he: ?My safety is at risk if I am seen as supportive of Trump.?

Like maybe a crowbar to the head?

When Trump said that Obama is the 'MVP' of ISIS, maybe someone should have told him he is the 'MVP' of Hillary Clinton's candidacy.

How about PPP polling showing Trump's lead only by 2 points in South Carolina?

Realistically, Trump will still win SC, but boy, just the fact we are talking about SC being competitive is astonishing.

Thank you, Mr. Trump!

Trump Is In Fourth Place Among Black Voters

"Trump is currently in fourth place among black voters. You read that correctly: He?s trailing Hillary Clinton, Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein."

It's significant because they not just won't vote for him, but 1 in 5 surveyed wants him to drop out of the race altogether.

Do you support Trump?

Of course the results of this in depth scientific liberal Reuters poll was analyzed by multiple reporters, writers, editors at pro-Hillary Huff Po. No media bias worries here.

Isn't the real story here why 80% of these Republicans do not want Trump to quit? If you look at the numbers it should be not hard to figure that 19% are the angry Jeb Bush establishment republicans? No real surprises here.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Nearly one-fifth of registered Republicans want Donald Trump to drop out of the race for the White House, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday, reflecting the turmoil his candidacy has sown within his party.

Some 19 percent think the New York real estate magnate should drop out, 70 percent think he should stay in and 10 percent say they ?don?t know,? according to the Aug. 5-8 poll of 396 registered Republicans. The poll has a confidence interval of six percentage points.

But even more powerfully, his support from regular Republican women is falling after Mr. Trump?s provocative remarks about everything from the silence of the mother of a slain Muslim soldier to how women should respond to sexual harassment in the workplace.

?For people like me, who are Republican but reasonable and still have our brains attached, it?s hard to see Trump as a reasonable, sane Republican,? said Dina Vela, a project manager in San Antonio who said she had always voted Republican and remained wary of Hillary Clinton. But to her own surprise, she has started visiting Mrs. Clinton?s campaign website and plans to vote for her.

Since the two parties held their nominating conventions, Mr. Trump?s lead over Mrs. Clinton with Republican women voters has declined by 13 percentage points, according to polls conducted by The New York Times and CBS News.

In late July, 72 percent of Republican women said they would vote for Mr. Trump, a healthy majority, but far below the level won by the past three Republican presidential nominees. In 2012, Mitt Romney won 93 percent of Republican women. In 2008, John McCain won 89 percent, and four years earlier, George W. Bush won 93 percent.

In politically moderate swing states like Pennsylvania, which aides to Mr. Trump say are crucial to his victory, Mr. Trump?s standing with women over all is perilously low among registered voters: Just 27 percent of women back him, compared with 58 percent for Mrs. Clinton, according to a poll by Franklin & Marshall College.

In an interview on Tuesday, Ms. Walsh cited a controversy Mr. Trump had set off just moments before, when he seemed to suggest that gun owners who care about the Second Amendment take action against Mrs. Clinton if she is elected. Democrats immediately denounced his remarks as a reckless invitation to his supporters to commit violence.

?That kind of rhetoric is inflammatory, and I think we are seeing that women in particular have a real problem with it,? Ms. Walsh said.

Donald Trump's poll numbers are plummeting in a state that's crucial to him winning the presidency.

In Pennsylvania, a state both Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton are targeting heavily ahead of November, the past four polls featured on RealClearPolitics have shown the Manhattan billionaire trailing the former secretary of state by 10 or 11 points.

And if the democrats had put up a more trustworthy and honorable candidate do you think we would be having this conversation? These former Bush sympathizers are not telling people to go vote for Hillary.

People would take Joe Biden at this point on both sides.

You think Democrats were happy with George W Bush? Romney compared to Trump is looking pretty damn good at this point.

What is disappointing is that we will have our first female president elected not because she is the best person for the job, but rather because the other candidates were that bad and useless ... one could surmise that all the parties put their worst candidates up for contention (with Bernie being the 'black sheep') to ensure we have a female president for the first time in history! [/quo

That was.certianly the case with the DNC and the democratic party on a whole

btw...many people are saying that Trump is finished as of tonight. The 2nd amendment comment was the last straw.

Donald Trump Suggests Shooting Hillary Clinton, Her Supreme Court Picks, Or Both
?A person seeking to be the president of the United States should not suggest violence in any way,? the Clinton campaign responded.

He may be done. But people have short memories. Donald is the result of too many people frustrated with the direction of this country. Romney not looking too bad now huh? Remember the left treated him and McCain the same as if they were Donald

And if the democrats had put up a more trustworthy and honorable candidate do you think we would be having this conversation? These former Bush sympathizers are not telling people to go vote for Hillary.

People would take Joe Biden at this point on both sides.

I don't like Trump but his quote was very vague. If you think he meant something violent, that's because you interpreted it that way, not because he said it.

And I don't care for Hillary but what does it mean when the Orlando Killer's father sits directly behind her smiling while she talks about standing with Orlando?

And she has sill not denounced his appearance???

Imagine if Dylan Roof's father was smiling, sitting front and center at a Trump rally.

There are two sets of rules. Nothing new.

Trump is a business man not a politician. He has no filter. Hillary on the other hand has been groomed for this for the last 16 yrs. She has a staff so large she has no idea who sets up her servers. She does not think we'll on her feet. She has proven this many times over in the past. She has no opinion and it will only go downhill for her once she has to speak. Her silence right now is strategic.
wrong. trump is not not a conman. he is a con, man!

What did I say that was wrong?

Vague like the Megyn Kelly blood comment. If you think he was referring to menstrual blood you have a depraved mind. Idiot.

The Orlando Father's killer was wearing a button that said "Proud Dad of Orlando Killer" but Hillary chose to ignore it for some reason.

Hillary tried to get Roof's father but he was unavailable. Trump booked him for the rally in Detroit. Win for the Donald.
