Sounds like the same woman that canvassed the Journal Square area for quite some time. Each day she would stop me to ask for money needed for train fare so she can get her and her kids home to Rutherford.

To damn hot to be standing around ShopRite Parking lot, must have been very profitable. I am curious what this scam was about... Kids and animals make great props.

Gypsy woman. Well dressed with big sunglasses and her two kids, son about 8 years old walking with her and daughter about 3 or 4 in the shopping cart.

Walked up to me with what looked like a credit card with a receipt wrapped around it inner hand as I was walking to my car and used the typical, "I'm so sorry, could you help me? My kids and I..." I didn't even let her finish. Just told her no, not today and walked away. Looked back after walking a few feet and she had already moved on to her next mark. I thought of yelling out to the dude she was working but he was already pulling out his wallet, so I said fuck it and packed my car. Before I was done loading she was already working two other guys.

So including me, she hit up 4 people in less than five minutes.
