This week we are honoring a Jersey City police officer for making a young girl?s day at the prom, even more special. Jersey City Police Officer Sean Connors took the time away from his schedule to be an escort for a young lady to her prom. The girl?s mother Jeanie wrote us this note on Facebook:  On May 27th my autistic daughter Samantha will have her HS prom. She is feeling like a princess thanks to JCPD officer Sean Connors who accepted to be her Prom Escort!! McNair HS offers Special Needs Children classes to which few know about. Sean Connors was volunteering his time an got to know the students an made a connection with my child.. When asked he said ?it would be my honor? He deserves recognition for his kind heart!!
