Shifting cost without shifting full ownership of teachers comp makes little sense. We should be going the other way - handle teacher's comp and benefits federally. Education shouldn't be a local political sport.

A friend gave me a copy from the League of Municipalities on NJ Pension and Health Commission Study. The basic suggestion is to have local municipalities pay for teacher's pensions. This report is from L. Mason Neely, CFO of East Brunswick dated 2/28/16.
