Sorry, according to Mayor Fulop the public does not need garages or parking lots. He says this while he and all members of the council still have parking available in the rear of City Hall. Every town hall meeting I have video the public asks the same thing, "We want parking lots and garages." Instead, we are given bike lanes.

Re parking in the municipal lots overnight ~ very much appreciate the published list of all lots with the >5pm and <6am stipulation, M-F. Anyone know whether it's ok to park in these lots on weekends? Thanks.

Residents can park overnight in a number of public school lots:

Dickinson High School: 2 Palisade Ave.
School No. 15: 135 Stegman St.
School No. 41: 59 Wilkinson Ave.
School No. 40: 88 Gates Ave.
School No. 17: 600 Bergen Ave.
School No. 11: 886 Bergen Ave.
Additionally, residents can park in the following municipal lots:

Montgomery and Orchard streets
733 Newark Ave.
Washburn Street and Oakland Avenue
Behind Burger King at the Griffith Street lot
394 Central Ave.

I live in the village section of downtown and I'm trying to find either a garage or lot to park my car in due to the snow. anyone know what would be the closest lot?
