Prosecutor's office holds workshop in Jersey City on getting criminal records expunged

JERSEY CITY -- The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office held a workshop in Jersey City earlier today for city residents interested in how one would go about getting his or her criminal record expunged.

Esther Suarez, who was sworn in as Hudson County Prosecutor in July, told The Jersey Journal at the event that she wants the prosecutor's office "to develop a growing relationship with all parts of Hudson County."

"We've done it in different ways, and this is the first time we've done this particular format," she said. "This is just our effort to build a partnership with our community, and just learn from one another. Only good can come of that."
