Courthouse and 'On the Waterfront' tours this weekend in Hudson County

Exploring the rich history of Hudson County, two tours will take place this weekend as a part of the Hudson County History Tours' fall series.

The first tour will take place this Saturday, Oct. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the William J. Brennan Court House, 583 Newark Avenue in Jersey City. Attendees will have the chance to learn about the architecture of the court house originally opened in 1910.

"On the Waterfront" bus tour is back by popular demand and will take place Sunday, Oct. 10 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m starting at the Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson Street. The bus tour will feature film industry expert Lenny Luizzi detailing Hoboken's presence in the 1954 film.

Each tour costs $10 per person. Space is limited to 24 people and reservations for the William J. Brennan Court House and the "On the Waterfront" tours are required.
