When I read Viola was involved I stopped reading. She is a pathetic person with no true worth and will try and say anything to make her seem relevant.

When you have no logical argument to make you start playing the race card. In my opinion, this is why the black community has failed to make its mark. Once you move past color & start focusing on merit you get noticed & gain respect

Bubbyboy, let's see if the people who spoke on this video still have jobs. It might not be racism, but it is definitely politics. Fulop is touting his re-entry programs, if this merger goes through then the workers who are ex-offenders will lose their jobs because the state will not allow ex-offenders to be on the city's payroll. It is the reason McKnight is on McGreevey's payroll because McKnight is an ex-offender.

I watched the video of the JCIA meeting and it made my head hurt. Dabney requested to retire
with a nice pension. He probably sees the writing on the wall that the agency will be dissolved so
he decides to retire. The community and former politicians come to stop the committee from
voting in favor of his choice to retire and blame his choice to retire on racism. The JCIA
was never diverse and reflecting of the community it serves while Dabney was in charge.
Nobody cried racism. Now that a white man has been named interim head of the agency the community comes
out and says it is based on racism. I just don't get it.

Your right it is a nice pension but just imagine the pension of Fulop's 26 year old spokesperson when he retires in 30 years.

The Dabney's brother got arrested for something that Fulop did with Public Works. I took pictures of Public Works working at Sacred Heart Priory. Sacred Heart and McGreevey's Re-Entry Program are private. Personnel and trucks should not have been there. Public Works should be fixing pot holes not working at a private concern. You can see the photos at www.speaknj.com/ on McGreevey is asked to leave a community over a re-entry program. The photos are at the end of the video. The city council did not approve the use of Public Works at a private program.

I'll guess he's getting a 100K/year pension, as well as a nice lump sum exit check for 'unused' vacation and sick days. Not a bad deal.

The guy's brother was arrested for corruption in the agency he headed . . . not to mention the loan of the SUV to Councilman Chico. I gotta back Fulop on this one.
