Project Greenville's "Show Some Love," a group art exhibit taking place this fall, is now looking for artists interested in having their work showcased in the exhibit next month in Jersey City.

The theme for the group art exhibit is love and individuals' interpretations and experiences with the emotion. Artists can submit various forms of art including photography, letters, collages, poetry, prose, spoken word, music, and more.

The exhibit will be open at Project Greenville on Sept. 11, 12, and 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Oct. 3 and 4 from noon to 6 p.m.

Light refreshments from Greenville businesses will be served. This upcoming exhibit is a part of the September JC Fridays program and the Jersey City Art & Studio Tour.

All artists interested in having their work showcased in Project Greenville's "Show Some Love" must submit their entries by Aug. 31. To submit entries, email projectgreenville@gmail.com or call or text 646-361-1858.

It's time for another open call, this one for artwork, photography, music, performance etc that will be a part of both the September JC Fridays program as well as carried over into the Jersey City Art & Studio Tour (the former Artists Studio Tour) weekend happening in October. ? This year's theme for our open call is LOVE....love not just in the romantic/relationship sense of the word, but in all of it's forms: love of your family, friends, neighbors and neighborhood, love of your passions, pets, community, people you admire, people you have lost, things that bring you joy and make your heart swell and head buzz with happiness and excitement. Or even simply love as a concept, a feeling, an emotion often hard to express with words. Whatever pops into your mind when you think of the word LOVE use it to inspire and guide you as to what you might want to share.?

Artwork, new or old photos, letters, collage, poetry, prose, spoken
word, song, music etc...LOVE is a beautiful and powerful thing, something we could all use more of, something it's helpful to learn about other people's perspectives on and something key to the better understanding between individuals and communities alike.

To share your work pertaining to LOVE please
email projectgreenville@gmail.com or call or text (646)361-1858 for more info.
