The City was to receive bids yesterday on the renovation of the Pershing field Playground. I've seen the plans and it's a complete overhaul.
I have no idea how the bid went and if they plan to award.

At almost every caucus meeting, Councilman Boggiano complains about the shape of this park, but he is ignored. It appears only Fulop's council gets perks. You can view the caucus meetings on the city's website.

I signed the petition and gave a small donation. Not only are parks and playgrounds good for children's - and adults! - health and well being; they also give people an opportunity to see and mingle with diverse neighbors of different backgrounds, which helps the social well-being of the city.

Please consider signing & sharing this petition. Pershing Field is sorely in need of some maintenance & TLC. It has amazing potential & is located in part of the city where green space is sparse.
